You form a field where time is magickally slowed down.
Any creature starting its turn inside the field or entering the field for the first time on a turn must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw, or else they become
When any creature sends a ranged attack, a Line area effect, or similar through the field (e.g. an arrow, or a Firaga spell, or the bead of an Antarctic Sphere spell), they must contest their Strength/Dexterity/etc. score (whatever was used in attacking) against your spellcasting ability. If they win, the attack continues as normal, but if you win, the projectile becomes suspended in the field, releasing at the end of their next turn. If the target of the projectile moves before this time, or if the projectile is disturbed in any way, then the attack will automatically fail to hit the target upon release in most cases.
At Higher Levels: Increase the Cylinder radius by 2m for each spell level increase.
